Recruitment

An employer in the Netherlands is looking for English-speaking people who are motivated to work. Suitable for long-term employment, requiring a minimum stay of 3 months, ideally 6 months or more. In case of a long-term stay, if the employer is satisfied with the employee, there is room for a salary increase. The standard wage starts at €14.40 / HOUR gross + 8% bonus + extra allowances.


Selection Process:

  • Send us your CV

  • We will arrange a WhatsApp video call

  • We will fill in the job application together

  • We will send the application to the Netherlands

  • Within 2 days we will have a response; if you are selected, you move to the second round

  • In the second round, you will have a video call with the employer in English. You will be able to communicate directly with the employer, discuss the job offer, and agree on the starting date.

  • If the interview goes well and you are chosen:

    • Send us your criminal record extract (if you have a record, it is not a problem)

    • We will finalize your start date, sign contracts, arrange transport from Slovakia, and handle all necessities

    • You will arrive in the Netherlands, move into your accommodation, and start working

Salary Conditions:

  • Weekly payments to your bank account

  • Salary depends on the type of work and the company

  • Minimum hourly wage guaranteed by law

  • Hourly wage by age:

    • 18–19 years: €12.75 gross/hour

    • 21+ years: €14.40–€19.00 gross/hour

  • Overtime is paid with a supplement of 25–125%

  • Guarantee of 36 working hours per week, even if there is not enough work (you will always be paid for at least 36 hours)

  • First payment after 9 days, then weekly


What You Need:

  • A bank account in your own name (for couples, each must have their own account)

  • Bank card with the account holder’s name, bank name, and IBAN visible

  • Criminal record extract

  • Valid passport or ID card (not damaged, valid for at least 3 more months)

  • BSN number (if not, an application will be arranged on contract signing day; issuance can take up to 6 weeks; you can work while waiting)

  • Valid driving license (if available)

  • Cash for the first days / pocket money


Welcome Gift:

Each employee receives a “Welcome Bag” upon arrival, including:

  • Rain suit

  • Bicycle safety lights

  • Safety shoes in required size (if needed)


Hygiene Rules When Working With Food:

Employees in food production companies may NOT wear or have:

  • False eyelashes

  • Painted nails (gel or artificial nails are not allowed)

  • Jewelry and piercings


Health Insurance:

In the Netherlands, health insurance is mandatory. You can arrange your own Dutch insurance or use ours. We cooperate with the insurance company “Zorg & Zekerheid” and offer discounted insurance at €5.41 per day.


Employee Association – Flexible Human Services:

Employees can join the association, which offers:

  • Coverage of health insurance deductible

  • Repatriation in case of death

  • Birthday gift

  • Life event support

Membership costs €0.15 per day (€1.05 per week) and is mandatory only if you have health insurance with us (through Zorg & Zekerheid).


Social Support Program:

We provide a social support team available 24/7 to help with urgent medical needs. During office hours they can arrange appointments, interpret at doctor visits, and accompany employees. This service is free of charge.


Courses:

We have our own training center offering various courses, e.g. Dutch language, VCA safety, forklift license, first aid, etc. Employees can apply voluntarily and for free. Some courses may require signing a training agreement committing to work with us for a certain period after completion.


Communication:

In case of any issues (health-related or other), contact the person whose phone number and email you will receive when signing the contract.


Accommodation & Transport:

We provide accommodation, local transport in the Netherlands, and bicycles for employees.

Accommodation details:

  • Must meet SNF certification standards

  • Mostly double rooms (limited number of single/triple rooms available)

  • Shared kitchen and bathroom

  • Internet included

  • Rent: €125 per week (deducted from salary)

Transport options:

  • Up to 10 km: free bicycle

  • 10–15 km: electric bicycle (deposit €150)

  • Bicycles can be used privately as well

  • Longer distances: possible allocation of VW Up car (driver must also pick up colleagues when needed). Driver receives a bonus depending on distance/number of passengers. Car may also be used privately.

  • 9-seater company vans available

  • Car/bike deposit: €150 (paid at contract signing or deducted from first salary; refunded after contract ends).

  • Accommodation notice period: 4 weeks


Transport to the Netherlands:
